BUILD TECHNOLOGY THAT MATTERS:
Extreme Endeavors designs and installs innovative IoT, automation and SCADA systems for water and wastewater utilities throughout West Virginia and beyond. Our technology helps communities monitor critical infrastructure, identify problems faster and operate their water systems more efficiently.

We're looking for a hands-on, motivated problem solver who wants more than a routine technician job. You'll work in the field installing and troubleshooting equipment while also learning the project-management, estimating and business side of the work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In the Field:
  • Install automation equipment, control panels, sensors and communications systems.
  • Perform wiring, conduit installation, equipment startup and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and test IoT, HMI, cellular and cloud-monitoring systems.
  • Travel to customer sites throughout West Virginia.

On the Project:
  • Help plan installations and coordinate schedules.
  • Work with customers, engineers, contractors and utility personnel.
  • Review drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare material takeoffs, obtain pricing and assist with bids and proposals.
  • Track project costs, documentation and closeout.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We're looking for the right person, not someone who checks every box.
You may have a background in electrical work, industrial controls, automation, mechanical systems, construction, telecommunications or another technical field. Experience with SCADA, networking, water/wastewater systems, AutoCAD or estimating is a plus, but we're willing to train someone with the right aptitude and attitude.

You'll need to be:
  • Comfortable with tools, technology and hands-on work.
  • Able to troubleshoot problems and learn new systems.
  • Organized, dependable and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and coworkers.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Licensed to drive with a clean driving record.
